Land Art festival "Land of Paustovsky" in Ryazan.

On June 4, the first land art festival "Land of Paustovsky" will be held in Solotch in Ryazan. It is timed to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the writer Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky.

Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky is a Soviet writer, screenwriter and teacher, journalist, war correspondent, translator. Paustovsky came to Meshchera in 1930 and began to live in Solotcha. The writer loved to walk around the neighborhood: the nature of the Ryazan region gave him peace of mind and inspiration. Having lived in the village until 1954, Paustovsky wrote a cycle of "meshchersky stories", which reflected the writer's sincere love for Meshchera, her beauty and harmony.

In 2019, a tourist eco-route was opened in Solotch in the Meshchersky National Park, which was given the name of the writer – "Paustovsky Trail".

The festival participants will enjoy interactive platforms, screenings of cartoons and short films based on the writer's stories, a performance by the Ryazan Governor's Symphony Orchestra, as well as master classes, lectures, a light show, excursions, food courts and souvenir shops.

In addition, the festival will host the premiere screening of a feature film based on the writer's works - "Lisa goes to Moscow", filmed in the Ryazan region.

And after a busy day, you can comfortably relax in cozy rooms at the AMAKS Congress Hotel in the very center of Ryazan.
